Scope review
Examine the surface, existing finish, exposure, use, desired appearance, access, and timing.
Specialty Finishes & Protective Coatings
Specialty surfaces require a finish system selected for the substrate, existing coating, exposure, use, and desired appearance. Zion Painting Services reviews those conditions before quoting refinishing, decorative work, or protective coatings for residential and commercial projects across Lee and Charlotte Counties.

Project-specific scope
Every service is evaluated and quoted for the specific project. A finish or coating suitable for one surface or exposure may not be suitable for another.
Project-specific scope
Zion considers the substrate, existing finish, contamination, wear, sunlight, moisture exposure, cleaning demands, touch frequency, desired color or transparency, sheen, application environment, and product conditions. When appearance or adhesion is especially important, a sample or test area may be recommended before full production.
A clear, coordinated approach
Examine the surface, existing finish, exposure, use, desired appearance, access, and timing.
Define cleaning, deglossing, sanding, eligible repairs, adhesion testing, primer, sample needs, and protection.
Confirm colors, stain or finish direction, hardware responsibility, access, ventilation, and cure restrictions.
Complete the approved preparation and coating layers within the selected system's conditions.
Review appearance, complete agreed corrections, reassemble included components, and provide care information when applicable.

Helpful answers
Not always with the same process. Zion reviews the substrate, existing finish, contamination, damage, adhesion, and desired result before defining a suitable preparation and coating approach.
Dry-to-touch time and full cure time are different. Return-to-use timing depends on the selected product, number of layers, temperature, humidity, ventilation, and how the surface will be used.
A sample or test area may be useful when color, transparency, texture, adhesion, or appearance is critical. The estimate states whether sampling is included.
